Abstract

The author of the study presents a result of his researches, the security descriptor matrix theory. The descriptor matrix is designed to determine as precisley as possible a given country's and region's complex security situation, or to describe the ongoing/recent changes in its security situation. The study provides detailed and exact instructions on how to use the matrix. The author also provides a practical example on how to use the matrix through assessing the security situation of Hungary.
