Abstract

Department of Military Geography and Meteorology of the Czech Defense University offers courses leading to Bachelor, Masters (Eng). and Ph.D. degrees for qualified individuals in areas of geography and meteorology. The graduates are prepared for Geographical and Hydrometeorological Service of Czech Army and for geographical and meteorological profession in civilian world. The department conducts research related to the influnce of terrain and hydroemeteorological conditions on the activity of armed forces.
