The Hungarian legal environment of the information search technologies

Abstract

The ICT environment has rapidly developed in the last decade. The distruptive changes presented new challenges to the LEA-s and security services. Four key technologies are identified whose application is partially or fully prohibited by the Hungarian legal system. Further blocking could severely impede the efficiency of the Hungarian LEA-s and security services.
