A modern információs technológiák hatása a társadalmi nyilvánosságra Szerbiában

Abstract

The explosive development of information technologies and the emergence of the Internet have enabled the rapid flow of information across space and time, fundamentally changing the structure and functioning of the social public sphere. This paper examines the impact of new information technologies on the social public sphere in Serbia, with a focus on security and defence challenges. It highlights the impact of digital threats (cyber-attacks, propaganda, fake news, disinformation) on public opinion and decision-making. It stresses the importance of EU harmonisation and the development of legal and institutional solutions to address security risks.
