Absztrakt
Mióta világunk belépett a nukleáris korszakba, a tömegpusztító fegyverekkel kapcsolatos állami politikák alapvetõen átalakították a nemzetközi kapcsolatokat és a globális biztonságot. A nukleáris fegyvereket gyakran tekintik alapvetõ elrettentõ eszköznek a potenciális ellenfelekkel szemben, és a szakértõk évtizedek óta vitatják szerepüket a konfliktusmegelõzésben, a stratégiai stabilitásban és a fegyverzetellenõrzésben. Napjaink gyorsan változó biztonsági környezetében egyre fontosabbá vált a nukleáris fegyverekkel rendelkezõ államok szakpolitikáinak vizsgálata, mivel a jelenleg zajló orosz–ukrán háború továbbra is destabilizálja a regionális és globális biztonságot, továbbá a nukleáris retorika riasztó szintre eszkalálódott.
