Moore korai nézetei a jóra vonatkozó tudásról és a józan ész episztemológiája
Abstract
A tanulmányban Moore híres erkölcsmetafizikai tézisét, a jó tulajdonság természetére vonatkozó nézetet vizsgálom, valamint ennek igazolási kísérleteit. A Principia Ethicában kifejtett etikai elmélet sarokpontjai a következők. A jó (vagy a jóság) valóságos tulajdonság, a világ objektív összetevője, amely sui generis, egyszerű, nem-természeti tulajdonság. A legfőbb értékek, tehát azok a dolgok, amik jók, a művészet (és más nagy szellemi alkotások) értő élvezete, valamint a barátság, a mély emberi kapcsolatok megélése. A jó természetéről és az értékek mibenlétéről (részben) „intuitív”, azaz közvetlen értelmi belátással nyert tudásunk van. A jó cselekvés pedig az értékeket a közösségre maximalizáló cselekedet. Az alábbiakban azt vizsgálom, hogy mi igazolja a jó természetére vonatkozó tézist.
