Cutaneous leishmaniosis in childhood

Abstract

Clinical symptoms and dermoscopic features of an early cutaneous leishmaniosis diagnosed in a 5-year-old girl are presented. The symptoms started 5-6 months ago, following an earlier short visit to the Middle-East. The
report also summarizes the diagnosis, dermatoscopic features and the treatment of this cutaneous parasitosis in children.
