Megjegyzések Ferenc pápa pontifikátusának két meghatározó aspektusáról

Absztrakt

Drawing on Pope Francis’s apostolic exhortation Evangelii Gaudium, the paper examines two important aspects of the ongoing pontificate. Since his election as Bishop of Rome in 2013, the pope has shown particular concern for the poor and encouraged efforts to promote fraternity across borders. Not only has he made gestures to demonstrate the importance of these two themes, but he also addressed them in his magisterial statements which will be system atically analysed in this article. Besides other themes, this essay also detects key ideas preceding the notion of the preferential option for the poor and of universal fraternity in the ecclesial tradition, especially in the teaching of the Second Vatican Council.
